Description
La Gabola is a beautiful farmhouse consisting of an old farmhouse where the owner lives and four independent small houses for guests. It is the ideal place if you wish to spend a relaxing holiday in the midst of the Valdichiana countryside, which offers an infinity of gentle, variable landscapes, and at the same time visit Tuscany and neighbouring Umbria.
You will find the farm at the foot of the rugged hill where the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona rises majestically and will instantly win you over with its old-world atmosphere. In Cortona you can stroll around, enjoy splendid views and visit countless ancient churches, museums and works of art. Don't forget to taste the local cuisine in the typical restaurants in the centre - you won't regret it!
A skilful and careful renovation, carried out with painstaking patience directly by the owner, and a decor in authentic period furniture give the houses a very special charm. You will feel welcomed in a very homely atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the very first moment.
Apartments Sofya and Selene are located in the same building and can be especially recommended for 2 families travelling together. La Gabola, La Gabolina and La Turata, on the other hand, are individual and independent houses, perfect for those who like a little extra privacy.
All around the farm a large green space where each house has its own private corner with a gazebo equipped with table and chairs. This will be your favourite place on warm summer evenings, chatting with friends and a good bottle of red wine. Even your small pets will be more than welcome at Fattoria La Gabola.
The beautiful swimming pool measuring mt. 5x10 (depth mt. 1,40 - open from 01 May to 30 September), used together with the owners is situated in a panoramic and sunny position and will be a pleasant pastime for adults and children during the hot summer days.

Arrival: in the afternoon between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - Departure: in the morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Shared pool open from 11/05 to 28/09.

Bed linen and bathroom towels (Initial set).
One baby bed (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 150 per apartment (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Electric car charging on demand on payment.
Obligatory final cleaning: La Turata and La Gabola Euro 40, La Gabolina and Sofya Euro 60, and Selene Euro 90.
Heating Euro 6 per m3 per apartment (if used).
Air conditioning in the bedrooms of all the apartments Euro 0,75 per kwh per apartment. Selene only in the attic (if used).
Pets allowed on payment of Euro 5 each per day (small size only).
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Sheets change Euro 5 per person.
Bath towels change Euro 5 per person.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Lovely place to stay
Small cosy house with private garden behind and nice table under the porch. Swimming pool right next door but still very quiet. The bedrooms cool by air conditioning that is necessary during the heat wave.
