Description
You will find Nonno Tobia on the top of a hill not far from the small and charming village of Magliano in Toscana. Nonno Tobia is a lovely farmhouse in a panoramic position from which, thanks to a recent renovation, three flats have been created, two of which are at your disposal. From the house, which stands on the top of a small hill covered with cereal fields, you can gaze the silhouette of Magliano in Toscana every day. The town, of Etruscan origin, became a strategic medieval village in the 15th century, protected by its imposing and characteristic walls.
All around is the lazy tranquillity of the countryside, which you can enjoy from the furnished portico with your favourite book or a glass of good Morellino di Scansano.
In our opinion, Nonno Tobia's strong point is undoubtedly its geographical position. The farmhouse in the middle of the Maremma countryside, but not too far from the Tyrrhenian coast, will allow you to organise and plan an interesting and varied holiday. You can take suggestive naturalistic excursions, losing yourself in the wild and almost uncontaminated nature of the Park of Maremma or of the WWF Oasis of Orbetello. Spend relaxing days under the warm sun on the golden beaches of the coast, or evenings out for dinner or an aperitif in the renowned tourist centres of the Argentario.
Around the house you will have a large green space shaded by typical Maremma pines and equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and wood-burning oven, for your lunches and barbecues in the open air. At the edge of the garden, a further bonus, there is a beautiful organic vegetable garden tended by the owners from which you can pick and enjoy at will seasonal fruit and vegetables.
To reach the farmhouse, the last stretch of road you have to cover, about 300 m, is not asphalted.

Breakage deposit Euro 150 per apartment (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.

Heating Euro 5 per m3 per apartment (if used).
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Peaceful
The perfect place for few days or a week, peaceful, no traffic and noise, the sea is not to far away and also some nice cities are close in the area to visit.

What a wonderful location! If you want to "get away" yet still be a few minutes from a charming walled town and you like a great view and isolation Il Nido is a great choice. Luciano was a great host and he cared very much about us and our stay. We actually were there during the Palio in Castiglion Fiorentino so that was an added treat. You're located in the midst of an olive grove with a wonderful view of the Val di chiana, can't say enough.
Ottimo appartamento
Ottimo appartamento immerso nella campagna maremmana con vista sul borgo di Magliano. Fornito di tutto il necessario ed estremamente pulito. Bella esperienza.
Splendida vacanza
Già prima della partenza, ci siamo accordati con Lucrezia per poter fare il check in prima dell'orario previsto ed è stata molto disponibili. Le indicazioni ricevute via mail per raggiungere l'alloggio erano super precise; seguitele e nn potete sbagliare. Il casolare si trova a Magliano a 5 minuti scarsi di auto dal centro storico. Se si è allenati si potrebbe anche arrivare a piedi ma la strada è in salita fino al borgo. Per arrivare all'appartamento si prende una strada secondaria nn asfaltata ma fattibilissima con un po' di attenzione. Il casolare ha 3 appartamenti, due al piano terra ed uno al piano superiore. Noi avevamo l'appartamento il Nido al piano terra. Ad accoglierci Daniela, molto disponibile e gentile che ci ha offerto una bottiglia di vino e dato utili suggerimenti su spiagge, luoghi di interesse e prelibatezze gastronomiche, ci ha mostrato l'appartamento e la zona comune della lavanderia. L'appartamento ha una piccola sala e cucina insieme, un bagno e la camera. per due persone va benissimo, all'ingresso un bellissimo porticato che ci ha permesso di mangiare fuori. Tutto intorno campi e la pace assoluta, di fronte sulla rocca, vista sul borgo di magliano. L'aria condizionata non c'è ma posso assicurare che anche in questa estate torrida non ce n'è stato bisogno perché era sempre ventilato soprattutto la sera quindi si dormiva molto bene e gli spessi muri in pietra fanno da ottimo isolante. Con qualche piccolo accorgimento si può migliorare la permanenza nell'appartamento, tipo un punto luce in più in soggiorno vicino all'angolo cottura per che resta un po' buio e il porta shampoo e bagnoschiuma nella doccia per non lasciare le cose nel piatto doccia. Come specificato nell'annuncio ricordo che nn ci sono lenzuola, ne asciugami. La posizione è ottimale per raggiungere spiagge ed Argentario ma anche i borghi dell'entroterra senza rinunciare alla pace e alla tranquillità della campagna. Noi abbiamo avuto addirittura la fortuna di avere la visita notturna di un cerbiatto e un tasso.
Bellissima vacanza
Appartamento situato in un casale, contesto molto bello in mezzo alla campagna sotto al centro storico di Magliano. Ci hanno accolto con molta pazienza dato il check-in ritardato di parecchie ore dal traffico, ci hanno fatto anche dono dei deliziosi pomodori dell’orto. Spiagge mediamente a 30 minuti di auto, la più vicina a 15; consigliato per chi vuole fare una vacanza di mare ma anche visitare l’entroterra. Collegato alla strada principale da una strada sterrata un po’ dissestata ma andando piano è fattibilissima anche con auto da città. La cucina è attrezzata abbastanza bene, se avete intenzione di cucinare portatevi un tagliere (o chiedete all’host, sono molto disponibili).
Settimana di relax
Abbiamo passato una meravigliosa settimana di relax. La casa è stupenda ha veramente tutto. Il luogo è un'oasi di pace con vista mozzafiato del meraviglioso borgo fortificato di Magliano. La posizione di Magliano è perfetta per chi come noi non voleva fare solo mare. Torneremo.
Super consigliata!
Il nido del cucu è stata per noi e i nostri due cani un'oasi di pace. Immersi nella natura con a disposizione un grande giardino di ulivi, una bella e rinfrescante piscina e un panorama meraviglioso sulla val di china. Vicino a molte città e paesi assolutamente da visitare per gli amanti della cultura e della gastronomia. La casa seppur piccola è super accessoriata non manca proprio nulla. Super consigliata!
Klein, aber mit allem Komfort
Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist genial. Das Haus ist klein, bietet aber allen Komfort. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich sofort, wenn doch etwas fehlen sollte.
