Just 1 km from the villa, easily reachable on foot, is the picturesque village of Chitignano, famous for its sulphurous and ferruginous waters. Here you will find everything you need for your stay: a mini-market, a bar and a typical restaurant where you can enjoy local flavours. A few steps from the villa, a natural spring allows you to collect beneficial water directly from the source.
Villa Maria Lena is the ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of Tuscany. Art cities such as Florence (70 km), Siena (90 km), and Arezzo (30 km) are easily reachable for a day trip. But don’t miss the chance to discover the gems of the Casentino: the majestic Castle of Poppi, the mystical Sanctuary of La Verna, the hermitage of Camaldoli, and the enchanting Casentino Forests National Park — a true paradise for hiking and nature lovers.
The villa is surrounded by a large, fully fenced private garden dotted with olive trees, where your four-legged friends can run freely. The swimming pool (4x8 m, depth 1.40 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) offers moments of pure relaxation under the Tuscan sun.
Just a few steps from the villa, with a separate entrance to ensure maximum privacy, lives the owner, always available for any need or advice, ready to enrich your stay with his knowledge of the local area.
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: kitchen-dining area, dining room, and large living room with sofas and TV, opening onto a furnished porch with table and chairs and overlooking the pool; bathroom with shower and washing machine. The various rooms are connected by a few steps.
FIRST FLOOR: accessed by an internal staircase, it features 3 double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, and a sitting room.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 150.
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 50 each per week.
Swimming towels available on request on payment of Euro 3 each.
Heating Euro 2 per m3 (if used).
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
