Description
The Pieve di Sant'Ippolito is a small outbuilding in the heart of the Crete Senesi. You will find it on the outskirts of the village of Asciano, in a panoramic and sunny position. The property is composed of the manor house where the owners' family lives, an annexe and the very ancient Church of "Sant'Ippolito e Cassiano", whose origins date back to the 3rd-4th century AD. Inside the church you can admire a beautiful fresco painted by several renowned artists of the Umbrian school, such as Pinturicchio and Raphael, but erroneously attributed to the Sienese painter Giacomo Pacchiarotti a minor artist of the Sienese school. On 13 August, for the feast of Saints Ippolito and Cassiano, the church will be open to the public and a Holy Mass will be celebrated there. During the rest of the year, being part of private property, the owners allow it to be opened only on rare occasions, while guests of the house will be able to visit it freely.
You will reach the village of Asciano, with shops and services of all kinds, by a pleasant walk of just a few minutes.
All around the house you will find a large, fully fenced garden equipped with children's games, a table tennis table, barbecue and tables and chairs for your outdoor meals. The beautiful round swimming pool (dimensions 13 x 8 m, depth 1.20 - 2.10 m) with water geyser, infinity edge with waterfall and 3-seater whirlpool bath will be at your disposal during the whole year. Near the pool there are two gazebos furnished with relaxing armchairs, table, deckchairs and sun loungers for your days of rest in the company of your favourite book. Some outdoor spaces and the swimming pool are in common use with the owners.
At Sant'Ippolito you will find well-kept furnishings and the many facilities inside the house (air conditioning, satellite TV, barbecue, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, mosquito nets, alarm system and Wi-Fi connection) will guarantee a comfortable and relaxing holiday.
The owners are very helpful for any needs during your stay and particularly sensitive to energy saving, in fact the house is equipped with solar panels for the production of hot water.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 200 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 60.
Air conditioning Euro 0,80 per Kwh (if used).
Heating Euro 5 per day (if used).
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Excellent
Excellent and really nice house located on a large private plot, and a lovely garden behind a fence and hedge down a private gravel road. Here, the lovely host family, who live in the main house, welcomed us warmly. We got recommendations and help with places to eat and things to experience. Located really nicely and safely in Asciano (Don't forget to walk around the town, there are also things to see here :) Fantastic pool, great when the heat according to the car is over 42 degrees... We also appreciated the possibility of air conditioning in the house. These good beds gave a good night's sleep. The Asciano location is also great for excursions to Montalcino, Siena, Cortona... and we could go on. Olive oil is produced on site :) Super holiday home for up to 4 people. (Maybe a little extra...) We would definitely like to come again :)
Wonderful vacation
Absolutly a wonderful vacation we had at Pierce di Sant Ippolito. The host family is very friendly and are ready to help and recommend trips and places. Perfect for Four persons. The small privat ovned Church is old and very nice. Would very much like to come back.
