Description
Villa degli Olivi is a beautiful holiday villa with attractive architectural features situated just outside Castiglion Fiorentino, a typical Tuscan town on the hills of the Valdichiana, surrounded by age-old olive groves and ancient cypress trees. The origins of the town date back in history. Today it's a quiet town which offers its visitors numerous cultural and eno-gastronomic events planned throughout the whole year.
The villa is situated on the slopes of a hill looking onto the Valdichiana below and is certainly the ideal spot for anyone wanting to spend their holiday in a charming country villa, without sacrificing any of the comforts of modern life. The internal fittings, equipment and furnishings of the house are of an high standard and ensure the maximum comfort.
Around the villa a large park of centuries-old olive trees, completely fenced in with a 1,70 m high fence and equipped with gazebo, garden furniture, barbecue and wood-burning oven will be the ideal place to spend relaxing evenings in good company. For the amusement of adults and children there are: the beautiful fenced-in infinity pool (size m. 6 x 12, depth m. 1,20-3,00 - open from 01st May to 30th September), the table tennis and approx. 2 km far the private tennis court (size 18x36 m.) to be shared only with the guests of other 3 villas COLLINA DEI FIORI, CASALE IL TRECENTO and VILLA GIOTTO.
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: access from the patio equipped for eating in the open and composed of a large sitting room with fireplace and kitchenette, bathroom with shower, laundry room with bathroom with shower and washing machine.
FIRST FLOOR: can be reached both from the outside or inside staircase and is composed of sitting room with sofas giving onto a panoramic balcony, 2 double bedrooms, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, bathroom with hydro-massage bath.
ATTIC: four double bedrooms of which one with en-suite bathroom with shower, bathroom with shower and bathroom with bath.
All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

Breakage deposit Euro 400 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.

Heating Euro 8 per hour (if used).
Air conditioning Euro 1 per Kwh (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 10 each per day and includes also a kennel, bowls for water and food and a pet toy.
Swimming towels on request Euro 3 each.
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
We had the most amazing stay at the villa!
As a family of 11, 8 adults and 3 children, we had the most amazing stay at the villa. We cannot fault it in anyway. The photos do not do it justice really. The surroundings are stunning, peaceful and private. The depth of the beautiful pool provided hours of fun for the kids and some of the adults! We ate every meal outside under the pergola. The kitchen is small but there's plenty of room to prepare food using the dining table. We used the air conditioning in the bedrooms at times, which made the summer heat more bearable but wasn't needed every night. Most of us were able to walk into the town but for the elderly this is a little trickier, so hiring one car really helped with runs to the supermarket or going out for dinner. We easily used the train to get to Arezzo for one day and Florence for another. Castiglion Fiorentino also has a lot to offer and we had two lovely meals there, overlooking the most incredible views. Our host was very helpful and very responsive every time.

We had a wonderful time
Carlotta, the home owner, was the most amazing person to work with. She was kind, caring responsive, knowledgeable and just plainly sweet. The house itself was beautiful with so much character. Not to mention the gorgeous pool and outdoor eating area. We had a wonderful time.

Schöne Aussicht und Sonnenuntergänge
Der Ausblick war wunderschön, die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Wir hatten sogar nahezu täglich perfekten Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, wenn man mit einer größeren Gruppe etwas Ruhe genießen möchte - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren um die Ecke.

Truly exceptional!
We are a large group of friends from work (13 people) and stayed at Villa degli Olivi in Castiglion Fiorentino (close to Arezzo) for a week. I highly recommend this villa as our stay was truly exceptional! Organization for a big group is tough so we had quite some questions regarding our stay. All of them were answered swiftly and very politely. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Carlotta, who was very nice and helpful in all matters! The villa is located at the outskirts of the small village Castiglion Fiorentino, in the middle of an olive grove. You can find it easily using G maps by typing in “Villa degli Olivi”. It is of typical Tuscan style with lots of wood and stone. The house boasts seven bed- and bathrooms (all wonderful, clean and tidy), a big garden and a beautiful swimming pool (ranging from 1.20 to 2.70m in depth). The carport is designed for two cars but there is plenty of space for more in front of the villa. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, with plenty of cutlery, knifes, cutting boards, wine glasses, huge pots, dishwasher etc. Thanks to the induction hob we were able to cook quickly and efficiently even for 13 people. Of course, we also made delicious traditional Italian Carbonara with spaghettoni, guanciale, eggs and pecorino/parmesan. You should do as well, but be careful not to add cream as this is considered treason in Italy! Still, our personal highlight is the pizza oven on the backside of the house. We happily received the owner’s family recipe and if you are patient and let the dough rise over night at a cool place (instead of 1-2 hours at a warm place), you will be rewarded with the best pizza you have ever made by yourself. I promise! The house comes with free bed sheets and towels for each person. We even received a bottle of homemade olive oil and red wine as welcoming gifts! Furthermore, towards the end of our stay, Carlotta surprised us with panna cotta made by Mamma, which was simply delicious! Wood for the fireplace and the pizza oven is included as well (even nice and fragrant olive wood). Air conditioning and electrical heating is billed separately, at least during the summer months. I like this approach because it supports sustainability. In summer, you will need neither of them as the house is well insulated. Simply open windows and blinds during the cool night, yet leave them closed during the hot day ¬in June, July and August – vice versa in May and September. In summary, there is nothing to complain but plenty to love about the Villa degli Olivi. In the name of our group, I want to thank you again for this wonderful holiday!

We had a really nice stay at this villa! With 3 families we had enough space, the garden is beautiful, the town nearby is lovely and we enjoyed the pool! The villa was very clean and well positioned and the owners very helpful, so nice!
