Old stone farmhouse with private swimming pool, set amidst olive groves and located a few km from Cortona. Sleeps 14, perfect for large groups of families or friends. The small hamlet of Montanare is within walking distance.
Description
You will find Villa Ca' di Maestro nestled among silver olive trees, at the edge of a large garden equipped for being outdoors and enhanced by a beautiful swimming pool with an internal staircase for your exclusive use (size 6x12 m, depth 1 - 2.50 m. - open from 11 May to 28 September). The property is part of a large farmhouse and consists of the main house, where there are 3 independent apartments and the farmer's cottage. You can gather outside, to eat all together or to spend evenings in company, under the characteristic pergola at the front of the villa, equipped with table and chairs.
In the garden, in addition to various corners designed for your relaxation in the company of a book and a good glass of red wine, you will find a swing for the children and a table tennis. The villa, being divided into independent units, is perfect if you are in a group, with family or friends, and wish to spend a shared holiday while maintaining your privacy.
The beautiful town of Cortona, with its Etruscan reminiscences, churches and monasteries, cobbled streets and many viewpoints - on a clear day you can even see nearby Lake Trasimeno from the Parterre gardens - awaits you just a few kilometres away. It is a must to visit and spend an evening out in one of the many excellent restaurants. Ask for a good bottle of Tuscan red wine to accompany a cut of Chianina meat, you will not regret it, that's a promise!
In Camucia you will find shops and supermarkets, while in the characteristic village of Montanare, which you can also reach with a short walk, there is a pizzeria.
The apartments have been renovated and equipped with every care; you will find Tuscan terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings.
The owners, in their choice of furniture and fittings, wanted to maintain the rustic country style, so as not to lose the atmosphere and warmth of country life of yesteryear, when the pace was slower, the family gathered in front of the lit fireplaces and everything was genuine and authentic.

MAIN FARMHOUSE:
LO SCRITTOIO - Ground floor apartment with pergola furnished with table and chairs where you can all eat together, consisting of living-dining room with kitchenette, fireplace and sofa, double bedroom with private toilet (WC and washbasin), twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
LA CATTEDRA - Apartment on two levels with entrance from external staircase. FIRST FLOOR: living-dining room with kitchen corner, fireplace and sofa. SECOND FLOOR: double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower.
IL MAPPAMONDO - First floor apartment with entrance from external staircase, composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner, fireplace and double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
IL CALAMAIO - Single small house ground floor composed of living-dining room with kitchenette, fireplace and sofa, double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
