Description
Galleria di Brolio is an old stone farmhouse whose origins date back to 1800, located between two of the most important towns of the Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano, and which is now part of the owners' farm. You will find the farmhouse just a few kilometres from the two towns and in both, as well as various monuments and sites of artistic interest that are definitely worth a visit, you will have shops, restaurants and all kinds of services. The small historic centres of the villages will be a pleasant destination for your aperitifs or dinners at the restaurant.
The farmhouse takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a conduit that is still in operation today and is located on the edge of the olive grove. The conduit is part of the canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the flow of water towards the Arno, planned by the engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
Galleria di Brolio is situated on the edge of a wood of about 20 hectares of oaks and pines used as a hunting reserve for the repopulation of animals; they live here in the utmost freedom and if you love wildlife you will frequently see hares and pheasants running in the olive grove, the vineyard and even in the house lawn.
On the ground floor there is the apartment where the owners live, as well as a cellar and a shed for the farm's agricultural tools, while the first floor is reserved for you. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable, enriched with local antiques, and blend in perfectly with the old features of the house. Not far away, on the other side of the wood, passes the railway line that connects central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, Milan), so it will be easy to move around even without a car.
A few metres from the house, surrounded by silver olive trees, you will find a beautiful swimming pool completely fenced and for your exclusive use (size 11x5 m, depth 1.10-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), together with a gazebo equipped with garden furniture, which will allow you to shelter from the hot summer sun.
There is also a large pergola supplied with wrought iron furniture for eating outside, equipped with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven, for those evenings when you want to enjoy a pizza or a grill “al fresco”.
The owner, on request, will prepare excellent typical Tuscan dinners and pizzas in the wood-fired oven which, we are told by customers who have stayed at the house, are truly delicious.

HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Beautiful
At our arrival we had reserved a dinner from our hosts, and it was lovely. Real homemade pasta, local cheeses and hams, and terrific service! Absolutely worth the money. The house and garden was beautiful.
Pleasant vacation
We had a pleasant vacation on this beautiful domain where the holiday home is located. The house has everything you expect. The owners were present on the ground floor during our stay, we were occasionally served tasty dishes, made by the friendly hostess! The swimming pool, only 3 years old, is situated between the olive trees and equipped with the necessary sun loungers. Shade can be found under the olive trees at the swimming pool. The pool is cleaned daily.
Large property with great outdoor area
This is a great house for both relaxing by the pool and exploring Tuscany/Umbria. A lot of nice scenery and cities are within 1-2 hour driving distance. The property is large and quiet. The kitchen has all you need, and there are 4 large bedrooms. Only negative is that it is not on ground floor, so when dining outside on the porch, you need to carry everything down and up the stairs. The owners came by most evenings, and always did their best to insure everything was ok. Their hospitality exceeded all expectations and had us taste their own produced wine and olive oil, and even some great meals. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended.
Peaceful location
Peaceful location but good facilities within reasonable driving distance. An extremely friendly and hospitable host. Clean and comfortable courtyard and pool area.
Nice stay
It is very spacious and clean. The owners look very well after everything. The pool is beautiful and cleaned daily.
Sehr gut
Der Pool war sehr gepflegt und die Gastleute sehr freundlich. Wir wurden sogar zum Willkommen mit einem Essen überrascht. Allerdings wäre es hilfreich gewesen darauf hinzuweisen, dass man eine 20 stufige Treppe zum Wohnraum hat. Aber wir waren trotzdem sehr zufrieden. *********************** The pool was well maintained and the hosts were very friendly. We were even surprised with a welcome meal. However, it would have been helpful to point out that there is a 20-step staircase to the living room. But we were still very satisfied.

Excellent lieu de séjour. Villa et jardin avec piscine magnifiques. Très belle plantation d'oliviers, et de vignes, une allée de cyprès impressionnante, et une vue totalement dégagée sur la campagne. Une situation qui permet de découvrir en voiture ou en train toute la Toscane. Et nous avons apprécié par dessus tout, l'incomparable accueil de nos hôtes, qui nous a plongé au coeur de l'Italie, d'entrée. Mille Mercis à eux. Notre séjour nous laisse une grosse envie d'y retourner !
