Description
Casetta i Ciliegi is an old stone house that has been skilfully renovated and is located in an extremely panoramic position, 750 m above sea level, and is part of the tiny hamlet of Cantalena Alta. Casetta i Ciliegi is the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life and be in close contact with nature. Green woods, steep hills and cultivated countryside frame this beautiful house with a large, fully-fenced outdoor area where you can relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (size 7x4 mt, depth 1.20-1.50 mt - open from 01st May to 30th September) and in the porch furnished with table, chairs and barbecue.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone alleys, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both about 15 km away and have all the necessary shops and services. Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. The furnishings are simple but comfortable and match the characteristics of the house.
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: porch equipped with table and chairs to dine outside, entrance on a wide living-dining room with kitchen corner, sofas, fireplace and tv, laundry room.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through internal staircase, double bedroom with panoramic balcony, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. Possibility to add one single bed in the double bedroom.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Private pool open from 01/05 to 30/09.
Swimming towels.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 110.
Air conditioning in bedrooms Euro 0.70 per kWh (if used).
Heating Euro 15 per day (if used).
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 per 100 kg (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 6 each per day and also includes kennel, bowls and a toy.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.

To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Wunderschöne Gegend
Tolle Aussicht, Gut ausgestattetes Haus wunderbares großes Grundstück mit Pool komplett eingezäunt unser Hund hat es sehr genossen. Roberta und Stefano waren sehr gastfreundlich und korrekt. Definitive Empfehlung!!
Stunning views
We have spent a wonderful week here enjoying the wildlife peace and quiet. The road to the property is a little bouncy but we got used to it quickly. We will treasure our memories enjoying delicious Italian food and wine watching stunning sunsets. The house is comfortable and has everything you need to self cater. It is also within easy reach of wonderful hilltop towns the area is famous for. We loved Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio especially this year. Roberta and Stefano are incredibly friendly and helpful and on hand when we needed them. It was incredibly hot so a/c in the bedroom was a life saver. I wish we could have stayed longer. This house is brilliant!
If you’re looking for a quiet holiday, this house is brilliant. It has everything you need; it’s clean and very well-maintained, the beds are comfortable and clean, the terrace is lovely, and the garden is very practical. Just don’t come here in a sports car – the last 3 km of the road is in poor condition and it’s a bit far from the town. It’ll make things easier if you pick up any essentials at the supermarket before you arrive. It’s a peaceful house – I’ll definitely be back.
Little house in heaven
We have just returned from almost 2 weeks in the beautiful house of Roberta and Stefano. The first time we had to drive there, it was quite the adventure, but you will get used to that road. Unfortunately, it was too early in the year to enjoy the pool, it was still too cold. But that didn't stop us from laying around the pool and enjoying the sun. From this house beautiful cities like Siena, Arezzo and Perugia are close by. Also, Lago di Trasimeno is a nice day out. Roberta and Stefano are lovely people who were always available for questions or assistance. Roberta speaks English very well, so communication was very easy. We want to thank you for the wonderful stay we had in your lovely house.
Wonderful and peaceful
Wonderful and peaceful. Between the BBQ, jumping in the pool and the incredible views, it was exactly what I wanted to relax. Slept like a baby!
Wundervolles Haus, traumhafte Aussicht
Wir waren im Juli 2024 für zwei Wochen im CASETTA I CILIEGI. Das Haus selbst sowie ist das gesamte Gelände sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheid bezüglich Ruhe und Erholung sowie aufgrund der Höhe bezüglich des traumhaften Blickes für einen tollen Italienurlaub kaum besser zu finden. Die Anfahrt ist für jeden normalen PKW problemlos machbar, auch wenn die letzten 3-4 km über Schotterwege gehen. Wir haben uns bei Roberta und Stefano sehr wohl gefühlt, der Empfang war sehr herzlich und Anliegen unsererseits wurden mit Freundlichkeit gelöst. Der Pool auf dem Gelände, der ausschließlich den Bewohnern des Hauses eigens zur Verfügung steht ist wunderbar und wird fasst täglich gereinigt, ein kleiner Fußballplatz auf dem Grundstück hat besonders unserem Junior gefallen. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und liebevoll angelegt. Aufgrund der Lage in ca. 700 Metern über Null ist auch die Temperatur auf dem Grundstück und im Haus sehr angenehm, da ständig ein leichter Wind weht und vor allem nachts für ausreichend Abkühlung sorgt. Vielen Dank für zwei fantastische Wochen in Italien. Auf ein Wiedersehen.
Wunderbare Woche
Wir haben Anfang Juni eine wunderbare Woche in der Casetta i Ciliegi verbracht und uns auch einige Kirschen vom Baum geholt. Ein schönes Haus, ein prachtvoller Garten mit schönen Sitz-/Liegeplätzen und viel Landschaft drumherum. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Begrüßung und Betreuung und vor allem für die Nutzung Ihres kleinen Paradieses mit grandiosen Aussichten und Sonnenuntergängen. Der Weg zum Paradies ist zwar etwas steinig, aber danach hat jeder sein kostenloses Fahrer-Upgrade.

Lovely house with beautiful views. Peace and quiet. Forests, meadows and numerous natural attractions for the botanist and ornithologist. Close to the Tuscan towns. Well worth going back there!
