Description
Casetta i Ciliegi is an old stone house that has been skilfully renovated and is located in an extremely panoramic position, 750 m above sea level, and is part of the tiny hamlet of Cantalena Alta. Casetta i Ciliegi is the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life and be in close contact with nature. Green woods, steep hills and cultivated countryside frame this beautiful house with a large, fully-fenced outdoor area where you can relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (size 7x4 mt, depth 1.20-1.50 mt - open from 01st May to 30th September) and in the porch furnished with table, chairs and barbecue.
The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone alleys, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both about 15 km away and have all the necessary shops and services. Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. The furnishings are simple but comfortable and match the characteristics of the house.

FIRST FLOOR: with access through internal staircase, double bedroom with panoramic balcony, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. Possibility to add one single bed in the double bedroom.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 110.
Heating Euro 15 per day (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 6 each per day and also includes kennel, bowls and a toy.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Wundervolles Haus, traumhafte Aussicht
Wir waren im Juli 2024 für zwei Wochen im CASETTA I CILIEGI. Das Haus selbst sowie ist das gesamte Gelände sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheid bezüglich Ruhe und Erholung sowie aufgrund der Höhe bezüglich des traumhaften Blickes für einen tollen Italienurlaub kaum besser zu finden. Die Anfahrt ist für jeden normalen PKW problemlos machbar, auch wenn die letzten 3-4 km über Schotterwege gehen. Wir haben uns bei Roberta und Stefano sehr wohl gefühlt, der Empfang war sehr herzlich und Anliegen unsererseits wurden mit Freundlichkeit gelöst. Der Pool auf dem Gelände, der ausschließlich den Bewohnern des Hauses eigens zur Verfügung steht ist wunderbar und wird fasst täglich gereinigt, ein kleiner Fußballplatz auf dem Grundstück hat besonders unserem Junior gefallen. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und liebevoll angelegt. Aufgrund der Lage in ca. 700 Metern über Null ist auch die Temperatur auf dem Grundstück und im Haus sehr angenehm, da ständig ein leichter Wind weht und vor allem nachts für ausreichend Abkühlung sorgt. Vielen Dank für zwei fantastische Wochen in Italien. Auf ein Wiedersehen.
Wunderbare Woche
Wir haben Anfang Juni eine wunderbare Woche in der Casetta i Ciliegi verbracht und uns auch einige Kirschen vom Baum geholt. Ein schönes Haus, ein prachtvoller Garten mit schönen Sitz-/Liegeplätzen und viel Landschaft drumherum. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Begrüßung und Betreuung und vor allem für die Nutzung Ihres kleinen Paradieses mit grandiosen Aussichten und Sonnenuntergängen. Der Weg zum Paradies ist zwar etwas steinig, aber danach hat jeder sein kostenloses Fahrer-Upgrade.

Lovely house with beautiful views. Peace and quiet. Forests, meadows and numerous natural attractions for the botanist and ornithologist. Close to the Tuscan towns. Well worth going back there!
ein wunderschönes Haus
Das Haus ist in der Tat exakt so wie beschrieben - wer Italien und insbesondere die Toskana liebt - wird hier eine sehr schöne Zeit verbringen. Ein Rustiko an einsamer Stelle, aber so exponiert, dass man die Natur und den Ausblick genießen kann. Viel mehr Privatsphäre als dort ist nciht möglich. Wichtig ist aber auch, dass das Haus trotz alter Substanz, charmanter Möbelierung, alles für den täglichen Gebrauch vorhält. Wer hier Urlaub verbringt, braucht eigentlich fast nichts mitbringen: Küche fast komplett, TV-Entertainment, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Handtüchter, sogar für den Pool, ... Ganz wichtig für uns: das Garten ist in der Tat vollständig umzäunt, ein Hund kann dort eigentlich nicht weglaufen. Korrekt ist in der Beschreibungen auch, dass man das Haus mit tiefergelegten Autos nicht anfahren kann. Die Zufahrt bis zur Hauptstraße ist mindestens 3,9km eine Schotterpiste, die sich allerdings mit einem normalen Auto bewerkstelligen läßt.

Das Haus ist toll gelegen, hat eine Mega-Aussicht und ist top ausgestattet. Es ist sehr sauber. Der Pool ist auch toll! Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und konnten uns super erholen. Danke dafür! Die Gastgeber sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!
Amazing
Our stay was absolutely amazing. The Villa is in the most idyllic location. So peaceful and beautiful. Roberta was so helpful throughout all of our stay. Very responsive when we made contact and very helpful with local information. The Villa itself was delightful. Lovely and clean, a beautiful space downstairs and amazing views from both bedrooms. The pool and gardens were kept clean and are very well kept. Beautiful flowers and foliage. Although accessed via unpaved road, this was easily done in a normal estate car, although care needed. The villa is very high and far in the countryside, which is what makes it so charming and has such amazing views! If you wish to enjoy the piece and tranquility rather than venturing out, make sure you do a big supermarket shop prior to arriving at the villa. The town is about 30-40 minutes away. Thankyou Roberta and Stefano for a fantastic holiday. Casetta i Ciliegi is a piece of heaven!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus im Toskanischem Stiel. Absolut schöner Garten mit Mandelbäumen, Kiwi und Aprikosenbäumen usw.. Vermieter haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt von den Besitzern. Das gepflegte Haus steht mitten in der unberührten Natur und ist ein wahrer Schatz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Danke Roberta und Stefano!
