Description
Agriturismo La Greppia is an old 17th-century farmhouse in typical Tuscan style. You will find it in the heart of the upper Arno Valley, on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, surrounded by splendid olive groves overlooking one of the most beautiful and greenest valleys in Tuscany.
The three apartments retain clear traces of their origins, the exposed stone, the terracotta and wooden floors and the majestic beams, which will take you back in time, to the discovery of the region's rural customs. The furnishings, in typical rustic Tuscan style, make an important contribution to creating a charming and evocative atmosphere.
Inside the property there is a fourth apartment at the disposal of the owner and his guests.
Outside, you can benefit from a solarium equipped with garden furniture and umbrellas, and from an evocative, large swimming pool (size 15x6 m, depth 0.90-2.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) suspended over the panorama, from where you can be lulled by the enchanting landscape of the Tuscan hills.
The relative proximity to the exits of the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway (Km. 15 at Valdarno or Incisa exits) will allow you, when you do not prefer to relax by the pool, to reach Firenze and the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany and central Italy in just a few minutes.
Tuscany is full not only of famous cities with monuments, churches and museums to visit, but also of small villages that look like jewels set on its gentle hills. Small clusters, more or less known, in the middle of the countryside or the green woods, where you can discover the region, the most authentic one.
During your stay it will be possible to go trekking, mountain biking, or on road trips, even accompanied by expert guides. On request, the owner will prepare typical Tuscan lunches and dinners.

Independent house a few metres from the main building, resulting from the the reconstruction of the old hay loft.

FIRST FLOOR: Twin bedroom where an extra bed can be added.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 150 per apartment (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to charge electric cars at the house, but at the appropriate centers that are located a few kilometers away.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Heating Euro 6 per m3 per apartment (if used).
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Ideal place for relax
Wspaniale miejsce i niezwykli gospodarze! Bardzo troskliwi, dbajacy o detale (swieze kwiaty na stole), zawsze odpowiadali szybko i sluzyli pomoca. Sama willa przepiekna, duzy basen bardzo zadbany i czysty (specjalnie dla nas zostal napelniony woda 3 dni przed rozpoczeciem sezonu!), a z ogrodu nieziemski widok na toskanskie wzgórza. Do dyspozycji gosci zarówno stoliki, lezaki sloneczne, a nawet stól do Ping Ponga - swietna alternatywa w razie deszczu zwlaszcza dla podrózujacych z dziecmi. Generalnie polecam! Miejsce idealne. Cisza i spokój. A wszedzie blisko, bo lezy w samym sercu Toskanii. *************************** Great place and amazing hosts! Very caring, attentive to details (fresh flowers on the table), always quick to respond and helpful. The villa itself is beautiful, the large pool very well maintained and clean (especially for us it was filled with water 3 days before the start of the season!) and from the garden an amazing view of the Tuscan hills. There are tables, sun loungers and even a table tennis - a great alternative in case of rain especially for those travelling with children. Overall recommended! The place is ideal. Peace and quiet. And it's close to everything because it's in the heart of Tuscany.
Beautiful and confortable place
This is beautiful and comfortable place! It is good for people who would like to spend the time close to the nature (beautiful garden, olive groves, Toscanian hills) and for those who would like to visit some historical places . We were able to visit Assisi, Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, Montepulciano and other... However it requires at least 1,5 hour trip in one side. But after the interesting sightseeing we could have a rest in the colorful swimming pool with amazing view!
Wonderful place
Dit is een prachtige plek met heel mooi uitzicht over de Toscaanse heuvels en veel ruimte om het huis en een heerlijk zwembad. In de omgeving zijn Arezzo en Florence (allebei ongeveer een uur rijden) maar ook veel andere, kleine plaatsjes een bezoek waard. Verder zijn Claudia en Franco ontzettend aardige hosts en zeer gastvrij. ************** This is a wonderful place with very nice views over the Tuscan hills and lots of space around the house and a lovely swimming pool. Nearby are Arezzo and Florence (both about an hour's drive) but also many other small towns worth visiting. Furthermore, Claudia and Franco are very nice hosts and very hospitable.
Great location, beautiful views
We have been there for two weeks with our kids (7 and 4 years old). Truly a gem. Great location, beautiful views. Very clean and big house. Pool and garden are great. We were often surprised by Claudia, the owner, with freshly picked pears, melons, and other fruits. Beautiful gardens and vineyard with super views. We are invited to dinner with owners, friends and other guests. That was great, very cozy and super tasty. Children were always helping Claudia with anything, watering plants, turtles feeding etc ... Very friendly owners, always there for you with advice and assistance. Great environment, not long distances to Florence, Sienna, Greve and Arezzo. We will definitely go again! Thanks to Claudia and Franco for all the wonderful things!
Fantastic accomodation
Dit is een geweldige accomodatie, wat een rust en ruimte. Fantastische eigenaars (Francesco is winnaar van de Giro d'Italia in 1991 en in het dorp dus een halfgod!) die al vroeg aan het klussen zijn, heel stil, en eens per week de gasten verwennen met zelfgebakken pizza's met als hoogtepunt, opus magnum van Francesco: de pizza Nutella!! Vanuit het zwembad, door Francesco zelf gegraven, zie je de boeren ploeteren en besef je dat je een bevoorrecht mens bent. Een plaats om elk jaar weer terug te komen (neem wel iets tegen de muggen mee!!) Voor oudere kinderen is er niet veel te beleven, die moeten zich echt zelf vermaken. De inrichting van het appartement is Italiaans, oude en nieuwe spullen door elkaar. We hebben er wel echte espresso leren zetten en drinken: dat apparaatje is nu niet meer weg te denken uit ons leven! *********************************** This is a great accommodation, what peace and quiet and space. Fantastic owners (Francesco is a winner of the Giro d'Italia in 1991 and therefore a demigod in the village!) who are early at work, very quiet, and once a week spoil the guests with home-baked pizzas with the highlight, opus magnum of Francesco: the pizza Nutella!!! From the pool, dug by Francesco himself, you see the farmers ploughing and realise you are a privileged person. A place to come back to every year (do bring something against the mosquitoes!!) For older children there is not much to do, they really have to entertain themselves. The furnishing of the flat is Italian, old and new stuff mixed together. We did learn how to make and drink real espresso: we can't imagine our lives without that machine now!
Very nice accomodation
Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller ruhiger Lage mit schönem Garten, herrlichem Ausblick und Super Pool. Claudia und Franco sind sehr gastfreundliche und nette Vermieter. Eier haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Ein wundervoller Platz in einer wunderbaren Umgebung, dazu ein schöner, top gepflegter Garten, mit einem ebenso schönem Pool. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und haben uns herzlich empfangen. Ein perfekter Ort zum Ausruhen und entspannen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles was man brauchte, war da.
