Description
Casa Ciabatti is part of an old stone farmhouse, located a few kilometres from the village of Castel Focognano, which stands on a rocky hill surrounded by chestnut and oak woods. The house, in a quiet position, is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic stay, or even for a family with children. It is the ideal accommodation for those who want to discover the Casentino, a charming green oasis in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, halfway between the cities of Arezzo and Florence, both of which can be reached in about an hour's drive.
The tranquillity, the mild climate, the beauty of the landscape and the kind welcome of its inhabitants make this valley a suitable and sought-after place for a pleasant summer holiday. You will be enraptured by the endless valleys, lush forests and the peace emanating from ancient castles and remote monasteries.
Marco, the owner, will always be available to advise you on the best restaurant or the small secluded village worth visiting.
An outdoor paved area is equipped with a comfortable gazebo, chairs and barbecue where you can enjoy your outdoor dinners. The 5x10 m swimming pool (depth 1,10-1,70 m - open from 05th April to 11th October) is fenced and located in the middle of a green area surrounded by olive trees and equipped with a veranda with a small lounge, perfect for your aperitifs or afternoons spent reading a book. There is also a laundry room with washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board.
The furnishings are neat and comfortable, with Tuscan-style furniture. Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 200 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 60.
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.

Beautiful!
A compact house with 2 sleeping rooms, with a small kitchen and a dining table downstairs. We were missing a sofa or armchairs during staying inside late after dinner but a way more you don't need. The beds for us were too soft but its very personal of course. The outside private area is just fantastic, even better than on the photos, very good taken care, with a big swimming pool, a large comfy patio. Our dog could join us, we're very grateful for that. There are neighbors in the other part of a house, but they have their own garden and we did not see anyone. There is a nice restaurant in the nearest small village. A supermarket is in 15min driving. The host is very welcoming, friendly and attentive, we arrived late in the evening due to traffic jams but it was no problem. Thank you for a nice vacation week!

We had a very nice stay at Casa Ciabatti. The house is lovely, the garden and pool are stunning! The owners are very nice and helpfull. The only thing we would recommend is to add a ventilator in the bedrooms, since it is very hot at night. Or maybe add more mosquito nets on the windows so you can leave them open at night. Otherwise fantastic!
Outstanding
Casa Ciabatti is undeniably stunning! The outside area is vast, well kept and beautiful. The pool is large, and the owners keep it in very good repair, cleaning often during your stay. Marco & Walter are exceptional hosts, very welcoming, friendly, and responsive to messages. If, like us, you don’t speak fluent Italian, I’d recommend having Google translate to help ease communication! The house itself is very clean. The only thing I would suggest to improve on would be more mosquito nets. The two bedroom windows have them fitted, but definitely could use a few more, as in the heat you need the windows open for ventilation, but the mosquitoes are vicious and come right in! Overall we had a superb stay, would definitely return and recommend to anyone who wants to experience true Tuscan tranquility!

Ci siamo stati io e mia moglie con la nostra cagnolona e siamo stati benissimo. Un’oasi di pace per chi vuol staccare la spina dal mondo ma anche per chi vuol visitare bellissimi posti come Arezzo, Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Camaldoli, l’eremo di La verna ecc. I proprietari Marco è Walter poi sono persone squisite e disponibilissime a cui vanno i nostri ringraziamenti.
