Descrizione
Podere I Gigli è un agriturismo a pochissimi passi dal centro di Castiglion Fiorentino, che potrete raggiungere comodamente a piedi in meno di 10 minuti quando avrete voglia di sgranchirvi le gambe. Anche la stazione ferroviaria, che si trova a 500 metri dalla struttura, è agevolmente raggiungibile e rende la casa particolarmente adatta per ogni tipo di spostamento in caso siate desiderosi di visitare la Toscana ed il Centro Italia senza prendere l’auto.
L’Azienda agrituristica produce principalmente cerali, ma intorno alla casa potrete godere anche del panorama su vigne, olivi e alberi da frutto. I proprietari saranno ben felici di farvi assaggiare ed acquistare il loro vino Sangiovese in purezza, l’olio extra vergine di oliva e altri prodotti di produzione dell’Azienda, orgogliosamente tramandata di padre in figlia.
La casa è circondata da un ampio e ben tenuto giardino, ombreggiato ed ornato di fiori e piante. Nella zona relax, organizzata con tavolo e sedie, potrete comodamente consumare i vostri pasti all’aria aperta. Sul retro della casa, in posizione soleggiata si trova la piscina delle dimensioni di 4,5x9 mt., profondità 1,50 mt. e completamente recintata (aperta dal 15 Maggio al 18 Settembre) per la sicurezza dei vostri bambini.
Un altro angolo che apprezzerete è la terrazza solarium a piano primo, dove trovate si trova un salottino con ombrellone, tavolino e sedie, ideale per gli aperitivi al fresco della sera.
A vostra disposizione anche l’orto con le verdure fresche di stagione che potrete raccogliere giornalmente.
Podere I Gigli è un antico casolare in pietra, che risale ai primi del ‘900, recentemente ristrutturato e riportato a vita nuova mantenendo inalterata la struttura che trasuda ancora di storia antica e di tradizioni contadine. I pavimenti in graniglia e le travi a vista sono stati conservati ed insieme agli arredi rustici e ai pezzi di antiquariato ed artigianato locale, scelti personalmente e con cura dalla proprietaria, rendono la casa un posto davvero ideale per le vostre vacanze.
I proprietari che abitano nella casa accanto, pur con discrezione, saranno un sicuro punto di riferimento per qualsiasi necessità possiate avere.

PIANO TERRA: ingresso su ampio soggiorno-cucina, zona pranzo, divani e TV satellitare, bagno di servizio (WC e lavandino) con lavatrice.
PIANO PRIMO: con accesso da scala interna, camera matrimoniale con accesso a piccolo terrazzino in facciata, camera matrimoniale e bagno con doccia e vasca. Camera matrimoniale con ampio bagno privato con doccia. Dal corridoio, accesso a grande e panoramico terrazzo solarium con vista piscina, tavolo, sedie e ombrellone.

Lovely place to stay with friendly, very hospitable owners ( thank you for everything,Sabrini and family). Walking distance to train station and town ( uphill, but not far). Delicious wine available direct from the farm - a large jug was waiting for us on arrival! One of the nicest things was having a large terrace at the rear, ideal for the evening watching the sunset. Would highly recommend.
Really lovely villa with fabulous pool area and wonderful location walkable to the pretty town with lots of restaurants.
We had a great time here with two families (two small children). Though we were with two families, we had enough privacy in the house and a nice living area big enough to have breakfast or diner together. It was nice we had airconditioning in both bedrooms. We enjoyed the fact there was a BBQ and the pool was really nice, also for the children (and good there was a fence around it). The owner of the house was really friendly and supportive and easy she lives in the house next to it, so we could have contact when that was needed. The center of Castiglion Fiorentino is also close by, easy to reach and good restaurants and gelato. Overall a wonderful holiday and we would definately recommand this house.
This was a perfect villa for us. Sabrina (our hostess) was very accommodating and even provided us with some fresh eggs & tomatoes along with some Biscotti. She invited us to help with harvesting the grapes (one the trips highlights). Since we had previously been to Tuscany and had seen the major sites, we wanted a place where we could visit the lesser known hill towns of Tuscany & Umbria. The location for us was perfect.
Casa ampia, curata e piacevole. Presenti tutti i confort necessari e la piscina è grande e ben curata. Perfetto per un periodo di relax in famiglia e con amici.
wonderful villa! very spacious and well equipped. 5 min walk to the town And railway station (didn't hear the trains once) direct to Florence and Rome.
Town has loads of restaurants, bars and 4 supermarkets to choose from.
Villa was spotless, as were the pool and gardens. owner and family were amazing, very welcoming and friendly - went our their way to settle us in, but not intrusive. we are booking again next year as also a great base for exploring sienna and surrounding towns and cities.

Really welcoming family. Wonderful delivery of warm home made tart and fresh tomatoes during our stay. A short but steep walk to local restaurants and we were able to walk to the train station for a trip to Florence. Beautiful pool!
Zeer goede ligging voor uitstapjes naar Arezzo, Assisi, Cortona, Florence, Perugia, en Sienna. Huis is prima verzorgd; slaapkamers hebben airco en horren, wat erg fijn is. De bedden vonden wij persoonlijk niet heel plezierig. Het luchten van de woonkamer in de avond zonder meteen muggen binnen te krijgen is lastig. Van de WiFi moet men zich niet teveel voorstellen; genoeg voor incidenteel ophalen van mail, maar voor intensiever gebruik met meerdere personen niet goed genoeg. Het welkom door de eigenaresse, die in het naastgelegen huis woont, was allerhartelijkst. Zwembad in de tuin is fantastisch.
A wonderful place to stay and explore from.
The house was spacious, clean and had great grounds. The swimming pool had just opened and is a really good size. The location is fantastic, being only a few minutes walk from the station and the supermarket, but you still felt you were in the countryside. We didn’t have a car and managed to get everywhere we wanted by train or by foot (although we are all regular walkers). The hostess and her parents are lovely, and kept bringing us vegetables they had grown. We also had the chance to sample their own wine and olive oil, which were both excellent. Our group included six adults and a baby, and everyone loved it.
