Eine wunderschöne Villa, die aus der geschickten und raffinierten Renovierung eines alten Herrenhauses vom Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts hervorgegangen ist und sich in Panoramalage auf einer Anhöhe über dem Chiusi-See befindet. Die Villa Poggio Falcone befindet sich am Rande interessanter touristischer Routen, die der Entdeckung der Etrusker und der Natur gewidmet sind. Die Stadt Chiusi ist nur 7 km entfernt, während Castiglione del Lago und der Trasimeno-See 13 km entfernt sind.
Nur wenige Dutzend Meter von der Villa entfernt befindet sich der "Sentiero della Bonifica" (Weg der Landgewinnung), ein interessanter Fußgänger- und Radweg, der Arezzo mit Chiusi entlang des Canale Maestro della Chiana verbindet. Die Strecke ist recht flach und eignet sich daher für Spaziergänge und Radtouren für die ganze Familie. Für Naturliebhaber und Vogelbeobachter hingegen ist die Oase von Montepulciano nur 10 Minuten entfernt.
Es wird nicht schwer sein, Familien mit Kindern oder Gruppen von Freunden in einer so schönen Lage glücklich zu machen, indem man interessante Tagesausflüge mit entspannenden Tagen am großen privaten Swimmingpool (Größe m. 6x12, Tiefe m. 1,00-1,60 - geöffnet vom 01. Mai bis 30. September) mit Solarium, ausgestattet mit Sonnenliegen, Tischen, Stühlen und Sonnenschirmen, verbindet. Neben dem Pool gibt es auch einen Whirlpool und eine Sauna (auf Anfrage und gegen Gebühr).
Die Villa Poggio Falcone liegt in einem großen, komplett eingezäunten Park mit jahrhundertealten Bäumen, in dem Ihre Hunde frei laufen können. In der Talsohle befindet sich die Eisenbahnlinie, die Chiusi mit Mittelitalien verbindet. Die gepflegte Einrichtung, die gute Innenausstattung, die Klimaanlage und die gut ausgestattete Küche garantieren einen angenehmen und erholsamen Urlaub.

Die Zahlung des Restbetrags ist innerhalb von 35 Tagen vor Beginn des Aufenthalts erforderlich.
Erfolgt die Buchung innerhalb von 35 Tagen vor Beginn des Mietzeitraums, ist der gesamte Betrag bei Bestätigung der Buchung zu entrichten.

Fantastic time in Poggio Falcone
Hi Michela, it was fantastic time in Poggio Falcone for me and my friends! Owners are very nice people, place is beautiful. Everything was ok. Our mark for PF is 10 out of 10!
The villa was perfect
We were a large group of 16 (mostly family). This villa was perfect for us. Long hot days by the pool (which is a perfect size). Everyone had plenty of space in the many cool breezy rooms. Even though we were there in the middle of summer, it was easy to sleep without the A/C, but we had the option. The kitchen was amazing, modern and had everything we needed. Easy day trips to Rome, Assisi and Montepulciano. And lots of other beautiful villages. We ate the most amazing meal at the restaurant that is onsite. Easily the most delicious meal we had while in Umbria/Tuscany. Our hosts were so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. I’d happily stay here again, and will be recommending this villa to everyone I know.
Incredibly wonderful experience
What an incredibly wonderful experience. The host was friendly and very kind. We got answers to everything we wondered about, and if something came up during our stay, they took care of it right away. They also have their own restaurant on the property, and there it was incredibly cozy and very good food. We were 10 ladies on the trip, and we had a wonderful experience. One of the ladies has already booked a week for next year as well. The host is pleasant, service-friendly and very pleasant.
We loved our stay at Poggio Falcone!
This is a beautiful villa in every sense of the word. It has the long drive approach with young cypress on each side. Beautiful shutters protect rooms from the sun and wind. Additionally, there are rolling screens that move into place so you can take in the beautiful property views and have your windows open. The ground floor rooms have very tall ceilings; the walls are thick and will probably help to keep the house cool when the weather heats up. We stayed the last week of April/first week of May and the weather was spotty: overcast, showery and sun. Our host provided us with fire wood and we had lovely fires in the evenings. The kitchen is massive and well equipped with lots of dish ware (I believe wedding parties have stayed here) and a large, modern stove and refrigerator. Bedrooms are large with nightstands, closets, etc. All rooms have independent, wall-mounted AC/heat units to keep temperatures comfortable. Outdoors, there is a beautiful pool (unheated) and a stand alone small building with a large hot tub and sauna. Large windows can be pushed open to really enjoy the outdoors. The property has fruit trees, roses and well-maintained shrubs. Italian landscaping is a bit more casual than, say, in England, so don’t expect manicured lawns - you’re in the countryside! Plenty of seating to eat outdoors or lounge by the pool. There are sheep on the property which can provide fun distraction for children and a nice photo op for the camera bugs in your group. We arranged for the hostess to serve our family a private dinner in their beautifully sited small restaurant which is also on the property, along the drive before you reach the house. It was a delicious meal! Bathrooms have dryers. There is a washing machine but no dryer. Laundry lines are provided, fine on sunny days but it may take a couple of days to dry your clothes if it’s overcast. Bring mosquito repellent as a general rule out in the countryside in Tuscany or Umbria. Or just buy some in your local grocery once you arrive. There are two or three large groceries within about 20 minutes. Lovely hilltop towns (Montepulciano, Orvieto, Cortona, etc) are all worth visiting. Note: many shops are closed on holidays so plan ahead. And DEFINITELY research some wineries for wine tasting. We visited Madrevite and they provided lovely cold cuts, cheeses, olives, etc to accompany our wine tasting. We loved our stay at Poggio Falcone. Hostess Manuela and her husband were gracious and helpful as was her son, Nicola.

The location and the accomodation were better than expected based on the pictures, everything was functioning, there is a large living space and everything was very clean. It was set on top of a hill, with a good view and lovely wind. In the kitchen was more than enough plates, pots, pans, glasses etc. The pool was cleaned every morning! Top! Owner was very helpful and welcome was warm.

A tulajdonosok rendkívül kedvesek, remek vacsorákat foznek. Erre a tájra ébredni minden reggel maga a csoda. ***** The owners are extremely friendly and cook excellent dinners. It is a miracle to wake up every morning to this landscape.

Kot bi se preselili v film!
Villa Falcone preseneti s svojo zunanjostjo! Ko smo rezervirali svoje pocitnice, nismo pricakovali tako velike in lepe hiše. Hiša je postavljena na romanticni gricek obdan s pšenicnimi polji, do hiše pa med polji vodi bela makadamska pot. Kot bi se preselili v film! Oprema malo odstopa od zunanjosti, pa vseeno ni motece, predvsem navduši kuhinja vsakega, ki uživa v kuhanju. Vrt zelo lepo vzdržan, prostoren in nudi veliko sence. Vrtna garnitura je sodobna in kvalitetna. Lastniki so izredno prijazni, malo šepa znanje tujih jezikov, ampak se da vse zmenit. Tudi dodatne stroške, kot je npr. ogrevanje, drva, kava, obracunajo korektno. Ce povzamem celoten vtis, preprosto cudovito in vsekakor za ponovit! *********** Villa Falcone surprises with its exterior! When we booked our rooms, we did not expect such a big and beautiful house. The house is set on a romantic hill surrounded by wheat fields, and a white dirt path leads to the house between the fields. It's like being transported to the movies! The furnishings are a little different from the outside, but there are no distractions, especially the kitchen, which is a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking. The garden is very well maintained, spacious and offers plenty of shade. The garden furniture is modern and of good quality. The owners are extremely friendly, a little lame in foreign languages, but everything can be arranged. They also charge extra costs, such as heating, firewood, coffee, correctly. To sum up the overall impression, simply wonderful and definitely to be repeated!
