Description
Il Colle sul Lago is an old red-brick farmhouse on the top of a gentle hill, just outside the small hamlet of Binami, overlooking Lake Montepulciano. From the green garden you can enjoy the view of the lake amidst the thick vegetation that will guarantee you shade and coolness. Relaxing and restful during the day, in the summer heat, and fascinating at night with the small lights in the distance. You can sit under the tall trees, with a book or a glass of wine, contemplating it and enjoying the beautiful views it offers.
Il Colle sul Lago is located in a special position, in absolute peace, yet within easy reach of several towns and places of interest. You can easily reach the towns of Montepulciano, Chiusi, Castiglione del Lago and Cortona, which offer not only restaurants and cafés for your evenings out, but also museums, wine cellars, monuments and works of art of all kinds to keep you busy during your holiday. About 10 km away you will find Lake Trasimeno, where you will discover well-equipped beaches and can practise your favourite water sports, or you can use the ferries to visit the islands, an activity very nice and suitable also for children.
We absolutely recommend you try the local cuisine, between Umbria and Tuscany, you will not regret it!
For your days spent at home, in the open air, there is a large shady park surrounded by areas equipped for relaxing outside with gazebos, benches, tables and umbrellas, and the beautiful private and fenced swimming pool (size 6x12 m, depth 1.00-1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), where you can enjoy an aperitif by the pool, on the sun loungers in the solarium. For your children there is a play area next to the pool.
Il Colle sul Lago is, in our opinion, your perfect place if you want to enjoy a holiday in a group of families with children or groups of friends and if you want a relaxing experience in contact with nature.
The well-equipped farmhouse is carefully furnished with stylish furniture and local antiques.
The owners reside in the villa next door, a sure reference point for all your needs.
Interior description
The villa is divided into 2 independent houses, in the main house there are 4 apartments, ground floor and first floor are not connected internally, the upper floor is only accessed by an external staircase with a panoramic terrace. The fifth apartment is located in a small farmhouse a few metres from the main house.
The apartments are subdivided as follows:
MAIN HOUSE
PEGASO. Ground floor apartment with entrance on living-dining room with single sofa bed and kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
CASSIOPEA. Ground floor apartment with entrance on living-dining room with kitchenette, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, one of which is suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Pegaso and Cassiopea can be connected to each other.
ORIONE. First floor apartment with access via external staircase and panoramic terrace (shared with Orsa Maggiore), with entrance onto living-dining room with kitchenette, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
ORSA MAGGIORE. First floor apartment with access from external staircase onto living-dining room with kitchenette and single sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.
Orione and Orsa Maggiore can be connected to each other.
SMALL FARMHOUSE
LA SOLITUDINE. Independent house on 2 levels with entrance on small passageway, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a large living-dining room with fireplace and kitchenette and with exit at garden level onto a terrace equipped with table and umbrellas.
In one of the bedrooms it is possible to add a single bed for a child.
On the ground floor of the house there is the laundry room, with washing machine, iron and ironing board and a freezer.
In a separate building, a few metres from the main farmhouse, there is a common room furnished with tables, chairs and a fireplace, where you can gather. Here you will also find a small library in various languages at your disposal.

Breakage deposit Euro 500 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Electric car charging on demand on payment.
Heating: Pegaso, Orione, Orsa Maggiore Euro 18 per day. Cassiopea Euro 29 per day. La Solitudine Euro 8 per bag of pellets (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day - MAX 1 accepted.
Tourist Tax Euro 0,90 per person per day, applied for the first 5 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Fantastic week
Vi havde en fatastisk uge hos Anna og Giorgio. Vi følte os meget velkomne og selvom vi ankom sent på aftenen blev vi modtaget med åbne arme og Anna bestilte bord på den lokale, så vi kunne nå at få aftensmad. Beliggenheden er fatastisk og især den store pool blev brugt flittigt på de meget varme dage. Helt sikkert et sted vi godt kunne besøge igen. *************** We had a fantastic week with Anna and Giorgio. We felt very welcome and although we arrived late in the evening we were welcomed with open arms and Anna booked a table at the local pizzeria so we could have dinner in time. The location is fantastic and especially the large pool was used a lot on the very hot days. Definitely a place we could visit again.

Abbiamo affittato l'intero alloggio per 4 giorni. All'arrivo abbiamo trovato una grandissima accoglienza, ma la cosa che mi ha fatto capire quanto i padroni di casa tengono a questo posto, il fatto che mi hanno contattata telefonicamente piú volte con la premura di farmi capire quale era la strada giusta per raggiungere il loro alloggio. Devo dire che le indicazioni sono state precisissime e di estrema facilitá per raggiungere il nostro appartamento. Arrivati li ci ha affascinato la torretta dove vivono i padroni di casa, subito dopo abbiamo visto i nostri appartamenti e la casa singola "Solitudine" e siamo rimasti contenti....era quello che cercavamo per stare 4 giorni in gruppo (4 famiglie con bambini) ma dove ognuno di noi aveva il suo spazio dove alloggiare. Siamo stati benissimo, lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole divertirsi in compagnia ma allo stesso tempo vuole la sua privacy per rispettare le proprie abitudini familiari. Sicuramente é una vacanza che rimarrá nel cuore!
