Description
Borgo Antico is a beautiful farmhouse on the high hills that separate the green Valdichiana from the Tiber Valley, located on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. It is the ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing holiday, in close contact with nature and far from the noise and bustle of the cities.
Moreover, thanks to its position, 600 m above sea level and the large stone walls, the house, even on the hottest summer days, guarantees a cool and comfortable temperature inside, especially on the ground floor.
The Etruscan town of Cortona in Tuscany and the village of Trestina in Umbria are both about 18 km away, while restaurants and small shops for basic necessities can be reached within 5 or 10 km.
You can spend your holiday days bathing in the swimming pool (size 6 x 12 m - depth 1.20-2.40 m, completely fenced in - open from 01st May to 30th September), playing table tennis and enjoying tasty lunches and dinners in the cool gazebo furnished with tables and chairs next to the barbecue and wood-burning oven. Even the youngest children will have fun on the swing and slide.
Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required).
The house is well furnished with Tuscan style furniture. Possibility to taste and buy excellent extra virgin olive oil and other typical products. Since the house is located in a quite secluded position and in order not to miss a single minute of your holiday, for the day of arrival it is possible to request a shopping service with home delivery (to be agreed before arrival).
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: Large dining room with stone walls, kitchen and wc.
FIRST FLOOR: Accessible only from an outside stone staircase, there is a sitting room with stone fire place, four double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower.
ATTIC: with access by an internal staircase on get to a walk-through sitting room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath.
DEPENDANCE: small stone house set on two levels next to the manor's house. On ground floor small living-dining room and on first floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Possibility to add two single beds in the bedrooms.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away
Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each one per day.
If ordered in advance swimming towels can be hired on site on payment of Euro 3 each.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Tourist tax Euro 2,50 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
Sheets change Euro 5 per person.
Bath towels change Euro 5 per person.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Bellissima struttura
Abbiamo prenotato questa bellissima struttura per festeggiare il Capodanno con un gruppo di amici. Eravamo 16 in totale e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La struttura dispone di tutti i servizi e le camere sono pulite e confortevoli. Gli spazi comuni erano spaziosi in modo da poter mangiare insieme. Ho un piccolo suggerimento, per il futuro sarebbe bello avere tutte le spezie di base in cucina come sale, pepe e zucchero.

Perfect for our needs, everyone was delighted. The owner, Stefano, is very kind and helpful. The pool was really appreciated. A very quiet and peaceful location with lovely views over the woods and hills.

Quel environnement!
Nous avons passé deux semaines dans le calme, la nature et la sérénité. Quel environnement! Nous ne regrettona absolument pas notre choix. Nous étions 10 adultes et 3 enfants et l'espace dans la maison est tout à fait approprié. Le temps nécessaire pour se rendre dans les magasins est d'environ 30/35 minutes mais nous faisions les provisions lors de la rentrée d'excursions, donc ce n'est pas véritablement un problème, juste une question d'organisation. Nous ne pouvons que conseiller cette location. Si c'est le calme et le ressourcement que vous cherchez...faites-vous plaisir!
Je recommande cette maison sans réserve !
Nous connaissons bien l'Italie et nous avons loué cette maison pour 2 semaines en juillet en famille (nous étions 9 adultes et 2 enfants) et ce fut un séjour inoubliable. La maison est admirablement située au sud est de la toscane, entre Florence et Assise, avec une vue superbe sur les collines alentour. Ses 7 chambres et ses 5 salles de bain, réparties entre la maison et une annexe, sont idéales pour des séjours en groupe sans se marcher sur les pieds. La piscine est très grande avec une vue sur les collines. Le gérant est très aimable et prévenant. La maison est très bien équipée avec 2 frigos, un lave linge et un lave vaisselle. Un vrai paradis ! Le chemin pour y accéder est certes caillouteux surtout le dernier kilomètre mais tout à fait praticable avec une voiture classique,ce que nous avions tous.

We stayed here for two weeks, last week in June First week in July, I have to say this house is absolutely beautiful, decorated very nicely, has everything you could want for a large group! Pool and gardens are very well maintained and spotless clean. The host Stefano was fantastic to deal with, he even dropped us down breakfast on our first morning, we couldn’t have asked for more! We had one minor issue which was resolved within 20 minutes of us calling him!
