Description
What strikes us most about this beautiful villa are the harmonious shapes, the porch with the stone columns, the stone facade, the large windows that give light to the rooms, the whole villa is in perfect harmony with the rolling hills that surround it, as in a painting. The vaults of the living room, the old fireplace, the antique furniture blend perfectly with modern comforts.
It is impossible not to fall in love with Lucignano that with its ancient medieval walls, paved alleys and its typical restaurants will give you moments of relaxed country quietness on hot summer evenings. A good dinner with Chianina meat and local red wine is highly recommended! Villa Fosca's fortunate geographical location, in a dominant position on the Valdichiana and not far from the cities of Siena and Arezzo, makes it ideal for getting around easily and visiting the major centers of Tuscany.
Behind the villa, in a sunny and panoramic position, there is a swimming pool size 6x12 m (depth 0,90-1,60 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) for the exclusive use of the guests. Its particular shape, the wide solarium and the equipped pergola will assure you wonderful days spent in total relax. Under the large porch, perfect for sitting down to dinner all together, there is also a football table sure fun for all ages.
Close to the house but with independent access, there is also the owner's house, Dario and Fosca will be at your complete disposal for any needs and advice during your holiday.
Interior description
GROUND FLOOR: Large portico furnished with table and chairs and table football, kitchen/dining room with fireplace, bathroom with shower and large living/dining room with fire place and double sofa bed. The living room give access to the wide terrace in front of the pool.
FIRST FLOOR: with access via internal staircase, two double bedrooms, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower and bath, courtesy bathroom (washbasin and toilet).

Breakage deposit Euro 200 (payable in cash at the arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Electric car charging on demand on payment.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 120.
Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each per day.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Lovely house, beautiful swimming pool
Lovely house, beautiful swimming pool. So big and clean. Very much enjoyed. (Thank you Lucrezia, we enjoyed two weeks. Especially from the beautiful swimming pool. The two children in particular were unable to get out of the pool. Also the house. Delicious outside under the roof.)
Wonderful location
A lovely house with a fabulous pool in a wonderful location. The WiFi wasn’t great in the house but if you sat outside on the terrace it was strong enough.
The spirit of Tuscany
Amazing place, with great, helpful hosts Dario & Fosca. Clean, charming. The place where we could feel the spirit of Tuscany. Nice equipment, dishwasher, very nice swimming pool, beautiful surrounding where we had long walks. Overall, I really hope to come back soon for another wonderful visit!
Truly as impressive as the pictures!!!
We recently stayed as 3 couples at Villa Fosca and were not disappointed. The large Villa, the (gated) property, and the surrounding area are all outstanding. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen, bathrooms and living areas were all very clean and well equipped - everything we needed for a week's holiday including a washing machine and drying rack. The beautiful and well maintained pool and lounge chairs were an added bonus after a day of exploring! The owners also live on the property, but this does not at all diminish the privacy of the Villa, as the dwellings are well separated. While they only speak Italian, the owners are very pleasant folk and given the amenities of the Villa there was little need for questions anyway. Alice, the property manager was extremely helpful responding to questions prior to our visit and was available throughout our stay should we have needed to contact her. Villa Fosca is a little bit off the beaten path, but that is a good thing while on holiday. Your GPS will get you there! Make sure that you leave yourself some time to visit the nearby village of Lucignano. It has a rich history and is a wonderful little town to explore. The crowds are sparse, the restaurants plentiful and the people friendly! We also booked a Chef through the property managers (EuroCasa) to come to the Villa for a cooking lesson and an evening meal. It was an absolutely outstanding evening and we would recommend that you add that to your holiday stay to experience Italian cooking (and humour) at its finest. We also booked a combined wine tour, wine tasting and lunch through EuroCasa, and it proved to be an extremely pleasant day out in the vineyards as well. In summary, we are all seasoned travellers and were all immensely pleased with Villa Fosca and the assistance from EuroCasa. We would love the opportunity to return some day. Very nice place to stay!
Very nice place to stay! The owners live nearby and they are very friendly. The house is beautiful, wide and very clean. Enough space for a big family. I loved the pool and the wounderfull view you have there. I can highly recommend this villa. I certainly will come again. Mille grazie e tante auguri! Martina
Ein sehr schönes Haus mitten in der Natur
Ein sehr schönes Haus mitten in der Natur, mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Genau so wie beschrieben.
Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen
Die Villa Fosca ist grosszügig mit viel Platz im und ums Haus. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Pool wunderbar. Die freundlichen Besitzer wohnen gleich nebenan und sind bei Fragen hilfsbereit zur Stelle, ansonsten diskret im Hintergrund. Von hier aus lassen sich pittoreske toskanische Städtchen besuchen und die wunderschöne Landschaft geniessen. Ein Auto scheint allerdings erforderlich. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.
La consiglio!
Ho soggiornato presso Villa Fosca dal 16 al 23 di agosto, il mio soggiorno è stato fantastico. La villa è stupenda, la consiglio vivamente a chi ha dei bambini, anche piccoli. C’è molto spazio ed è l’ideale per una vacanza in compagnia di amici o parenti. Bellissima anche la piscina. Il panorama che si vede intorno alla villa è incantevole. Sicuramente ci tornerò nuovamente in futuro. La villa si trova poi in un’ottima zona, vicinissima a Lucignano e poco distante da altri bellissimi borghi come Montepulciano o Cortona. La consiglio!
