Description

Villa Marcigliano is situated in the valley dominated by the charming town of Cortona, which majestically overlooks the eastern Valdichiana from an altitude of 500 metres. Cortona, a destination of great artistic, historical and architectural interest, is definitely worth a visit. It is a jewel of southern Tuscany that we assure you will make you fall in love at first sight.
An important Etruscan and Roman seat, the town enjoyed considerable prosperity during the medieval period and from 1411 followed the glorious fortunes of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
In its cobbled alleys you will find typical bars and restaurants for an evening out, it will be pleasant to stroll around Rugapiana and from the parterre you will enjoy unforgettable sunsets with a breathtaking view stretching as far as Lake Trasimeno.

Villa Marcigliano consists of 2 farmhouses, one of which is divided into 3 apartments (Torreone, Tufa and Girifalco which is on the first floor and where the owner lives), while the other is divided into 2 apartments (Corito and Rugapiana) all well furnished and equipped with every comfort.
You will have a large green area at your disposal, definitely the highlight if you are travelling with your children who will have a huge space where they can run around and explore freely. The beautiful swimming pool (size 7x14 m, depth 1.50 m - open from 11 May to 30th September) will remain for your exclusive use, along with gazebos with table and chairs placed both in front of the apartments and the swimming pool, a barbecue, a laundry room and a small playground.

Its convenient location, quiet but not isolated, makes this villa your ideal destination for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature, yet not far from the major communication routes that will allow you to easily visit the major centres of Tuscany and Umbria.
Less than an hour's drive away you will find Perugia, Arezzo, Siena, Lake Trasimeno, as well as countless small villages nestled in the green hills, less well-known but absolutely worth a day trip to discover unspoilt rural Tuscany.

TORREONE: Ground floor apartment composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, twin bedroom with French window overlooking the garden, double bedroom. From the living room going down some steps we find a sitting room with double sofa bed and bathroom with shower.
TUFA: Ground floor apartment composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms, one of which has french windows overlooking the garden. From the living room going down some steps we find a sitting room with double sofa bed and bathroom with shower. 

CORITO: Ground floor apartment composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner (dishwasher), bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms one of which with French window overlooking the garden.
RUGAPIANA: Ground floor apartment with entrance through private porch composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner (dishwasher), bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms one of which with French window overlooking the garden.
Each apartment has own gazebo furnished with table and chairs to eat outside.
