Description
A few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona, up the slopes of the Montanina hill, you will find La Montanina, a recently renovated part of a typical farmhouse, which maintains its original architectural features. The stone facade, the fireplace in the living room, the wooden beams on the ceilings and the warm colours of the furniture and paintwork will welcome you to this little nest, taking you back to the country life of times gone by.
Around the house there is a large fully fenced green area of about 5,000 square metres with an endless series of natural terraces covered by silver olive trees. On one of these terraces, there is a swimming pool (size 5 x 10 m, depth 1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), for your exclusive use and finished with a stone solarium, sunbeds and umbrellas. As well as being a safe haven on hot summer days, it will also be an unforgettable place to enjoy breathtaking sunsets over a marvellous panorama of the valley below.
For your leisure moments, table tenniss and volleyball court are available.
In front of the house there is a large, paved, panoramic terrace which is overlooked by the kitchen. The space is equipped with table, chairs and barbecue, and here you can enjoy excellent dinners and cookouts in the fresh evening air.
The furnishings are simple and comfortable and the house also has air conditioning, a small laundry room with washing machine and a shaded parking space.

Breakage deposit Euro 200 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.

Swimming towels available on request on payment of Euro 3 each.
Heating Euro 6 per m3 (if used).
Air conditioning Euro 0,80 per kwh (if used).
Tourist Tax Euro 1 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Great Holiday
The pool is huge, and very private and has an amazing view down into the valley and across to Castiglion Fiorentino and surrounding hills. There is plenty of room in the grounds, which are covered in olive trees, some fruit trees and lots of flower planters. You really do feel as if you are away from everything. Just bring lots of insect repellent for the evening. The house is small but adequate for a family of 4.
Good place for relaxing
Great place to stay and relax, at the pool an unbelievable beautiful view of the area.The people are friendly and helpfull. Great place to escape the hectics of home.
Es war einfach wundervoll
Es war einfach wundervoll Sehr gerne noch einmal Die Vermieter waren sehr nett ich hoffe auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen. Die Stadt Arezzo war sehr schön vor allem die Natur von Castiglione Fiorentino... Ich vermisse es jetzt schon.

Das Häusschen ist absolut ausreichend, wenn man einfach nur Ruhe und eine Auszeit vom Alltagsstress sucht. Die Ausstattung ist normal und beinhaltet alles was man braucht. Der Pool ist das Highlight. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt und es gibt keine Mängel. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Vielen herzlichen Dank für Alles! Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit und wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Wir werden dieses Reiseziel auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder mit in die Auswahl nehmen. Viele Grüße Ariane
Settimana speciale
Ho trascorso una settimana davvero speciale alla Montatina. La casa e' bella, pulitissima e fornita di tutto. Il giardino consente di riposare in tranquillità' e la piscina rilassa dopo le belle camminate tra i borghi circostanti. Ma la cortesia e disponibilità' dei proprietari e soprattutto della sig.ra Marina che ci ha riempito di gentilezze e di sorrisi sono un plus davvero eccezionale. Non esito a consigliare questa location per una bellissima vacanza di tranquilliate spero di ritornare. Grazie

Das Haus ist für 2 Person absolut empfehlenswert! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Zudem sind die Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend und kümmern sich um ihre Gäste. Das Grundstück ist sehr sehr groß und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick. Das eigentliche Highlight ist jedoch der riesige Pool, welchen man für sich alleine hat.
