Description
Casetta i Ciliegi is an old stone house that has been skilfully renovated and is located in an extremely panoramic position, 750 m above sea level, and is part of the tiny hamlet of Cantalena Alta. Casetta i Ciliegi is the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life and be in close contact with nature. Green woods, steep hills and cultivated countryside frame this beautiful house with a large, fully-fenced outdoor area where you can relax in the beautiful private swimming pool (size 7x4 mt, depth 1.20-1.50 mt - open from 01st May to 30th September) and in the porch furnished with table, chairs and barbecue.
The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone alleys, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both about 15 km away and have all the necessary shops and services. Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. The furnishings are simple but comfortable and match the characteristics of the house.

GROUND FLOOR: porch equipped with table and chairs to dine outside, entrance on a wide living-dining room with kitchen corner, sofas, fireplace and tv, laundry room.
FIRST FLOOR: with access through internal staircase, double bedroom with panoramic balcony, twin bedroom, bathroom with bathtub. Possibility to add one single bed in the double bedroom.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 250 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
Electric car charging on demand on payment.
Obligatory final cleaning Euro 110.
Heating Euro 80 per week (if used).
Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 6 each per day and also includes kennel, bowls and a toy.
Tourist tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay.
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Amazing
Our stay was absolutely amazing. The Villa is in the most idyllic location. So peaceful and beautiful. Roberta was so helpful throughout all of our stay. Very responsive when we made contact and very helpful with local information. The Villa itself was delightful. Lovely and clean, a beautiful space downstairs and amazing views from both bedrooms. The pool and gardens were kept clean and are very well kept. Beautiful flowers and foliage. Although accessed via unpaved road, this was easily done in a normal estate car, although care needed. The villa is very high and far in the countryside, which is what makes it so charming and has such amazing views! If you wish to enjoy the piece and tranquility rather than venturing out, make sure you do a big supermarket shop prior to arriving at the villa. The town is about 30-40 minutes away. Thankyou Roberta and Stefano for a fantastic holiday. Casetta i Ciliegi is a piece of heaven!

Privacy on top
After an exciting drive with (first gear) hairpin bends, you arrive at a quiet spot, high in the mountains with great views. Warm welcome. Lovely Italian family house with garden, pool and lots of privacy.
A great stay
We had a lovely stay at Roberta’s beautiful house. We had a very warm welcome and Roberta and Bianca took very good care of us and the property. The house itself is spacious and the views are amazing! And who doesn’t want a private pool… The road to the house is, just like everyone says, not suitable for brand new cars or Tesla’s. But if you want a lovely house, beautiful views, a private pool, a place to relax and you don’t mind a somewhat bumpy ride up the hill; this is the place for you!
Spectacular location
Roberta, her husband and Bianca gave us a really warm welcome at the house. The location of the house is spectacular. Unfortunately for our stay it rained a lot, so we couldn't enjoy the full range of possibilities the house has to offer. But it's a perfect location to stay for a summer holiday with a lot of privacy and stunning views. And for rainy days you still have a fireplace available in the living room.
Great relax
Beautiful surroundings and silence. You can really relax here. This week was very good, away from everything and everyone. We thank the hosts for everything and thank you for the delicious wines.
Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at Casetta i Ciliegi. The position of the house is amazing - high up in the Tuscan hills with incredible views to the valley beneath and the surrounding hills. Secluded and private, it's a perfect place to relax and unwind. There's plenty of walking that can be done from the house with various different trackways leading around the wooded landscape with stunning views on all sides. Roberta and her husband (the owners of the house) were excellent hosts and we received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival.
our tuscan retreat
We had a fantastic stay at this peacefull tuscan retreat, the views are breathtaking, the house is nice and clean very traditional. A car is a must as the location is remote but if your after peace and quiet with a stunning view this is the place for you!
