Description
Agriturismo La Greppia is an old 17th-century farmhouse in typical Tuscan style. You will find it in the heart of the upper Arno Valley, on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, surrounded by splendid olive groves overlooking one of the most beautiful and greenest valleys in Tuscany.
The three apartments retain clear traces of their origins, the exposed stone, the terracotta and wooden floors and the majestic beams, which will take you back in time, to the discovery of the region's rural customs. The furnishings, in typical rustic Tuscan style, make an important contribution to creating a charming and evocative atmosphere.
Inside the property there is a fourth apartment at the disposal of the owner and his guests.
Outside, you can benefit from a solarium equipped with garden furniture and umbrellas, and from an evocative, large swimming pool (size 15x6 m, depth 0.90-2.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) suspended over the panorama, from where you can be lulled by the enchanting landscape of the Tuscan hills.
The relative proximity to the exits of the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway (Km. 15 at Valdarno or Incisa exits) will allow you, when you do not prefer to relax by the pool, to reach Firenze and the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany and central Italy in just a few minutes.
Tuscany is full not only of famous cities with monuments, churches and museums to visit, but also of small villages that look like jewels set on its gentle hills. Small clusters, more or less known, in the middle of the countryside or the green woods, where you can discover the region, the most authentic one.
During your stay it will be possible to go trekking, mountain biking, or on road trips, even accompanied by expert guides. On request, the owner will prepare typical Tuscan lunches and dinners.

GROUND FLOOR: Living-dining room with kitchen facilities and large open fireplace.
FIRST FLOOR: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower. An extra bed can be added to one of the bedrooms.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE:
Breakage deposit Euro 150 per apartment (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs.
It is not possible to charge electric cars at the house, but at the appropriate centers that are located a few kilometers away.
Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used).
Heating Euro 6 per m3 per apartment (if used).
HOW TO BOOK
To make a reservation you can book directly on the site by selecting the dates in the calendar of the desired accommodation, or you can send an e-mail to info@eurocasa.com specifying the name of the villa and the period you want to book and we will send you our booking confirmation with all the details to proceed with the payment.
Methods of payment (by bank transfer or Credit card)
At the time of booking confirmation we will require the payment of a deposit of 20% the total amount of the booking.
The payment of the balance is required within 35 days before the beginning of the stay.
If the booking is made within 35 days prior to the start of the rental period, the amount must be paid in full upon confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation terms
-20% of the rental price for cancellations received up to 36 days before the rental.
-100% of the rental price for cancellations received between the 35th day and the day of commencement of the rental, and in case of No Show.
Fantastic Holiday
The holiday at La Greppia was fantastic. What a hidden gem, what a friendly people, a peace and quiet. We enjoyed our stay! A great owner, Franco Chiociolli, which turns out to be an excellent pizza baker / barbecuer! Really great, this is what is called a vacation until next time!
Beautiful location
Een prachtige locatie uit 1714, maar van alle gemakken voorzien (complete keuken, nette badkamer, klein huiskamertje en goede slaapkamers). Daarnaast een goed verzorgde tuin met groot zwembad (ruim 17 x 7 meter) met verschillende ligplekken en zithoekjes. Daarnaast is het een prima uitvalsbasis om de rest van Toscane te ontdekken. Firenze 45 min, San Gimignano 1,5 uur rijden. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren (Claudia en Franco), waarbij Franco bekend is van zijn winst in de Giro d'Italia 1991. Het is niet erg toeristisch, dus alle ruimte om echt tussen de Italianen te kunnen verblijven en genieten van de rust, eten en natuur. Ce gîte est un lieu enchanteur
Ce gîte est un lieu enchanteur: le jardin très fleuri, la piscine et la vue sont superbes, l'appartement très coquet et très bien tenu. Claudia et Franco nous ont accueillis de manière très agréable: simplicité, chaleur humaine, et disponibilité à tout moment! Claudia met tout en oeuvre pour fleurir le jardin et pourvoir aux besoins des hôtes; Franco a été de très bon conseil et très disponible, y compris lorsqu'il nous a conduit chez son garagiste lorsque notre véhicule a eu une roue crevée! Je recommande ce gîte.
Belles vacances
Le logement est un peu petit mais largement compensé par une très belle terrasse, une piscine avec un point de vu magnifique sur les montagnes et un accueil des plus chaleureux. Attention chemin de terre étroit pour accéder!
