Immersed in the marvellous Tuscan hill landscape, around 500 m above sea level and situated on a natural terrace overlooking the beautiful valley, we find IL ROMITO. This house, with its charming view of Montecchio Castle, was once a retreat and the Hermitage of Casa Arsiccia. This is where, back in 1412, Friar Grifo and later Friar Carlo of Borgogna, found their mystic spot of peace and quietness. The two apartments we propose are the result of the renovation of an ancient barn and are only a few steps from the manor house where the owner and his family live. Today, as in the past, they produce their own wine and olive oil, as always with love and passion. At guests' disposal the swimming pool (size 8 x 3m, depth 1,20m), the wood burning oven and the barbecue. Both apartments have a private external space equipped with table and chairs to eat outside. Furnishing is simple and comfortable.
